Sandy Nicholson Oast, CISR

Claims Coordinator

Sandy is a Claims Coordinator with The Phoenix Company, bringing more than 45 years of experience in the insurance industry. Licensed since 1994 and holding both North Carolina and South Carolina Adjuster’s Licenses, along with her CISR designation, Sandy has served in roles including claims clerical, supervisor, and adjuster handling auto, home, commercial, and workers’ compensation claims.

Sandy works with both personal and commercial clients and finds fulfillment in helping people during difficult times. She treats clients like family and takes a proactive approach to guiding them through the claims process from start to resolution. Outside of work, she enjoys staying involved in her community, including volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher, Safety Leader for the NC Insurance Women, Mission Leader with World Changers, Volunteer for WBFJ, and so much more. She also loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In an era where exceptional one-to-one customer service excellence has virtually disappeared, the work that Sandy Nicholson Oast, claims coordinator, did should be held as an example for others to try to emulate. Her professional attitude and demeanor were certainly refreshing during this stressful time. I am sure she is a great asset to your organization, and this is one of the main reasons we have remain a loyal customer of The Phoenix Company for over 30 years.
