Barbara serves as a Receptionist with The Phoenix Company and has more than 45 years of experience in the insurance industry. Licensed since 1988, she previously worked as an Account Manager and continues to assist with personal lines when needed.
Barbara enjoys the ever-changing nature of the insurance industry and values helping clients understand answers to their questions in a field that can sometimes feel confusing. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, she has lived and worked in North Carolina since 1988. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, spending time with her grandchildren, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers during college football season.
In an era where exceptional one-to-one customer service excellence has virtually disappeared, the work that Sandy Nicholson Oast, claims coordinator, did should be held as an example for others to try to emulate.
